October 5 - ZTA 5K for Breast Cancer Awareness
Oct. 5 | 9am | Festival lawn
ZTA Race for the Ribbon 5K will begin from the Festival lawn, Oct. 5. Registration will begin at 8:00AM and the race will begin at 9:00AM. Bagels and coffee will be provided prior to the race. We encourage you to wear as much pink as you can! 1st, 2nd and 3rd places will be awarded, as well as the most spirited. Ticket purchase includes t-shirt.
All proceeds go to Zeta Tau Alpha Foundation which partners with a number of organizations committed to Breast Cancer research.

Student, emeriti, family cost: $23 flu shot, $40 FluMist (ages 4-49)
Faculty, staff cost: $10 flu shot, $27 FluMist
Forms of payment accepted: Cash, check, credit card. NO FLEX
The vaccine is being provided by Maxim Health Systems. Maxim can submit claims to Aetna for any member receiving a flu shot (only flu shot, not FluMist). Receipts will be provided for other insurance reimbursement.

512 Montpelier Hall | 7pm
Dukes in Recovery is a student-led program that provides a support network for students who are recovering from alcoholism and/or substance addiction.
This support network enables students to come together and discuss how they can support each other through their journey towards sobriety. It provides a non-judgmental, non-critical, and anonymous forum for discussion with JMU students who share the common challenge of staying sober.
Dukes in Recovery is not affiliated with any other addiction treatment programs, and is only for JMU students.
Meetings are weekly, Mondays, 7pm, Montpelier Hall, fifth floor conference room 512c.

Brick Wall is an annual event that gives the JMU community a chance to share their positive and negative experiences with alcohol.
