August 1   - Immunization Form due

All students must meet immunization and TB requirements as set by Commonwealth of Virginia Law. Please log in to jmu.edu/healthcenter/myjmuhealth and complete the health history section AND enter immunization dates.

A paper Immunization Form (which includes a TB Assessment) must be signed by a health care professional as verification and returned to the Health Center at the address on the form by August 1.

Faxed copies will not be accepted. Failure to complete this process will result in an academic hold on your student account and a $50 fine.

August 17 - AlcoholEdu Part One due

Part one of the online alcohol prevention program, AlcoholEdu, must be completed by August 17.

AlcoholEdu for College is a confidential, personalized, two-part, online alcohol education program. Whether you are an abstainer or drinker, the program, designed to empower students, helps you to make well-informed decisions about alcohol, respond to the drinking behavior of peers, and achieve your academic goals.

AlcoholEdu is not a lecture about alcohol. Rather, it is a program for college students who are thoughtful about life choices or who have a shared commitment to the health and welfare of others.

August 20 - UHC Open House
8am-5pm | Montpelier Hall 4th, 5th floors

Visit the Health Center, meet the staff, complete and/or turn in immunization form, get needed immunizations, drop off allergy injections.
