Global Ethics Day

Wed, 17 Oct 2018 12:00 AM - 11:59 PM

Inspired by Earth Day, Global Ethics Day is a project of the Carnegie Council for Ethics in International Affairs.  JMU is participating in the fifth annual Global Ethics Day by hosting a variety of events around campus.

Help us create a video - 11:00 am - 1:00 pm on the Commons

From 11:00am to 1:00pm, Ethical Reasoning Educators will be on the Commons creating a video compilation of responses to the question, "What Does an Ethical Campus Look Like?" All faculty, staff, and students are welcome to participate.

Discuss what an ethical campus looks like with Dr. Tim Miller - 7:00 pm in SSC 1075

At 7:00pm in SSC 1075, Dr. Tim Miller, Vice President of Student Affairs, will be leading a discussion on the question of "What does an ethical campus looks like?" Participants are encouraged to share their thoughts and interact with Dr. Miller. This event is open to the public.

Stay engaged throughout the day!

Ethical Reasoning in Action is available to partner with you on Global Ethics Day. Let us know if you would like to include the 8KQ in your classroom or if you are planning to feature Global Ethics Day in some way through projects, presentations, or activities. We would love to highlight your work and give you a platform to tell your story.

Global Ethics Day events are happening all over the world-you can stay connected using the #globalethicsday2018 on all social media platforms.
