Cynthia Cooper headed Internal Audit at WorldCom and courageously led a small team that covertly investigated and then exposed the multi-billion dollar fraud that occurred, ultimately resulting in the largest fraud and bankruptcy in U.S. history at that point. An accountant, Cynthia was named (along with two other whistleblower's) a Time Magazine Person of the Year in 2002. She later wrote the book, Extraordinary Circumstances, documenting her experience.
