Seeking renewal with your scholarship? Participate in a three-day residency with a community of faculty scholars at Mountain Valley Retreat Center at the base of Massanutten Mountain near Harrisonburg, VA (Note: This program was formerly named Writing Renewal Retreat).

Stimulate creativity and reconnect with one’s scholarship projects through mindfulness mediation, nature walks, music, and more as you commit sustained time to completing a project or developing your research agenda. The retreat curriculum is balanced between long open-sessions of self-directed time to work on your scholarship and facilitated sessions that involve reflection and discussion of creative ways to sustain a positive and creative relationship with your scholarship.  Overnight stay strongly encouraged.  Meals and housing will be provided courtesy of the Center for Faculty Innovation.
