Ways of Worldmaking“ Exhibit
WHEN:  Oct 4th- Oct 21st, M-F, 11AM-4PM
WHERE: artWorks Gallery, (131 Grace St.)

For thousands of years, people have been captivated by the universes in our imaginations.  In the last century, that imagination has borne tremendous fruit, first with the advent of science fiction and modern fantasy in literature, and that was then expanded to television and film.  Star Wars, Harry Potter, The Lord of the Rings, these are the imagined worlds that capture our hearts and minds.

This show will explore imagined worlds in visual art, through the costume design of junior Matthew Perkins, work from Stephanie Williams' claymation project and work from Corinne Diop’s Fact or Fiction assignment will also be included.  The idea is to immerse the viewer in these imagined worlds, so that they can fully experience the power of human imagination.
