This show aims to explore and push the boundaries of paper as media, expanding from the typical two-dimensional format.  The show explores two extremes of expression with paper: on the one hand, senior Madison Whitesell’s artist books subvert traditional conceptions of paper as merely a platform for content, instead developing the form of the book as its content.  On the other hand, senior Anne Rusher’s project Crevice uses paper to create architectural models, which represent three-dimensional physical space, thereby exceeding paper’s conventional two-dimensional limits.
