What was Lost: Urban Renewal in 1960's Harrisonburg

Tue, 4 Feb 2014 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM

Join us for this opening reception in Roop Hall 208.  This exhibition examines the social, racial, and political implications of the R-16 urban renewal project in Harrisonburg. The photographs exhibited are from an album discovered at the Harrisonburg Redevelopment and Housing Authority and document the buildings that were destroyed in that project.  This exhibit will run until April 4th, 2014.  http://www.jmu.edu/ivs/index.html
