Arboretum Explorer Camp

Mon, 19 Jun 2017 9:00 AM - Fri, 23 Jun 2017 4:00 PM

Young nature enthusiasts are invited to spy on birds, turn over logs, search for salamanders, meet 100-year-old trees and more this summer at the Arboretum Explorer Camp!

What fun it can be to investigate the natural life of the arboretum through hands-on activities, fun instructional time, guided nature walks, team-building activities, scavenger hunts and arts and crafts. Children will spend each day outdoors exploring a new theme: Bugs and Insects, Birds, Aquatic Life, Reptiles and Amphibians and Native Plants. Camp graduates will leave camp with new skills of observation and wildlife identification, a new appreciation of the forest ecosystem and a love for nature.

Afternoon Camp (ages 8-10): 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm
