Birds of the Arboretum with Diane Lepkowski-

Wed, 15 Mar 2017 12:00 PM - Sat, 21 May 2016 1:00 PM

In  partnership with the Rockingham Bird Club, Diane Lepkowski a bird expert presents an informative review and slide show of birds found at the arboretum. With plenty of humor interjected into the commentary, enjoy learning about some of the over 115 avian and raptor species that call the arboretum home. In the Frances Plecker Ed Center, and for free, with free parking along University Boulevard for the program, bird sightings captured photographically at the arboretum (which is an important migration rest stop) are shown, explained, and recounted. Come to learn how-tos of equipment and technique for bird watching. Plan to participate with the follow-up guided bird walk later in the spring at the arboretum.
