ACTIVE CITIZEN WEEK 2014 has arrived!

MONDAY, March 24: Stop by the Commons to see the difference college-aged active citizens across the United States have made through the Alternative Break Program in the past year!

Location: The Commons

Time: All Day

TUESDAY, March 25: Learn about the various stages of the Active Citizen Continuum through making your own tie-dye creation! Bring something white to tie-dye (hint: your Alternative Break t-shirt). It's free!

**Tie Dye is postponed until a later date in April due to snow**

Also check out SMAD Reel Change's documentary, "Watermark," showing at 7pm at Court Square Theater

WEDNESDAY, March 26: Join us along with SMAD Reel Change for a screening of the documentary, "William and the Windmill," a film about William Kamkwamba. The young Malawian builds a power-generating windmill from junk parts to rescue his family from famine, transforming his life and catapulting him on to the world stage. See this incredible film for FREE! There will be a Q and A with the director afterwards.

Time: 7:00pm

To learn more about important social issues and change-makers, check out SMAD's 3rd annual Reel Change Documentary Film Festival, continuing the rest of the week. Admission is free and all films will be shown at Court Square Theater.
