Amnesty International presents Josh Bailey, co-founder and CEO of The Gray Haven Project. The Gray Haven Project is an organization located in Central Virginia that works with human trafficking victims and raises awareness on the seriousness of this issue. In his talk, “Human Trafficking: Deconstructed,” Bailey will take a practical approach to the reality of human trafficking in the Central Virginia area. This will cover how a student can protect himself or herself and their loved ones from this injustice, individual stories of current clients and the realities of their experience, as well as real-life ways college students can get involved. It’s a chance for students, faculty and anyone else in the community to get a better understanding of the realities of human trafficking within our own society and how to be conscious of it.
