One of the greatest love stories ever told, Shakespeare's classic tragedy about star-crossed lovers in the midst of a violent family feud has been entertaining audiences for over 400 years. Romeo and Juliet is a play that questions what every generation and every age holds most dear. The characters embark on a journey of a life and death, love and hate—themes relevant to the world today. Features students from JMU's School of Theatre and Dance. Guest director and adjunct theater faculty member Ingrid De Sanctis collaborated with a team including JMU alumnus and fight choreographer Casey Kaleba; JMU alumna, dance faculty member and choreographer Julia Vessey; JMU theater faculty member and costume designer Rebecca Lustig; and JMU theater faculty member and scenic designer William Buck.
