professional gallery featuring changing exhibitions of regional, national and
international significance spotlights the work of Reni Gower, a professor in
the painting and printmaking department at Virginia Commonwealth University.
Using the language of abstraction, Gower blends a fluid, improvisational
painting approach with a repetitively structured and analytical one to create
complex images on various mediums.
