Specialties: Contemporary Southern literature; eighteenth-century British literature.

Education: B.A., Hobart College; M.A., University of  Virginia; Ph.D., University of North Carolina--Chapel Hill.

Awards and Publications: Dr. Jeffrey is editor or contributing editor of three books.
He has published approximately 50 critical articles, 30 book and film reviews, and one poem. I've given over 30 scholarly presentations, at annual meetings including MLA. Dr. Jeffrey was an associate editor of the Southern Humanities Review for 5 years and co-editor of the journal for 7 years.
