In this workshop class we will study the craft of poetry and its expression in the work of contemporary poets and the members of the class. We will read collections of poetry by contemporary poets ( Lisa Spaar, Belle Waring, Laurie Kutchins) and others and write papers which analyze the style of these poets. We will also read and discuss the work of the members of the workshop. Students will also be placed in small groups for weekly online workshops.
