Dr. Gaughran 3 credits
A study of literary works--including fiction, poetry, and drama--produced by writers from south of the Mason-Dixon Line, with an emphasis on William Faulkner and his literary descendants. Besides Faulkner, the course will examine works by John Crowe Ransom, Allen Tate, Robert Penn Warren, Tennessee Williams, Flannery O’Connor, Eudora Welty, Walker Percy, Zora Neale Hurston, and others.
