The University Advancement Office is currently seeking applications for the following position:

Director of Development, College & University Programs

The purpose of this position is to solicit private gifts to benefit programs of individual colleges within the University as well as the capital and endowment requirements of the University as needed. The Director of Development reports to the Director of Major Gifts. Projects will require close working relationships with faculty, academic administrators, and other University officers as well as an understanding of academic and co-curricular program goals and objectives of the University and its academic units. The Director will serve as a liaison between the Development Office and one or more colleges or other academic units. His/her primary responsibilities as such will be to offer the dean/director of the unit direct access to the Development Office, to communicate Development policies, procedures, goals and objectives to the Dean, and to manage a portfolio that will include the unit’s top major gift prospects.

The Director of Development is primarily responsible for identifying, cultivating, soliciting, and the stewardship of major gifts from alumni, parents, and friends in support of the fundraising objectives of one or more colleges and for the University.
