2If the agenda posted on November 5 is particularly large, the voting deadline and subsequent meeting may be rescheduled to allow the committee adequate time to review the materials posted.

3The last posting deadline for newly proposed courses and program changes to be included in the 2019-2020 catalog is Monday, December 3rd at 5:00 pm. The College C & I Chair will schedule a cycle of review for all proposals posted as of December 3rd - three consecutive meetings scheduled in January will be used for this purpose.

Proposal Reminders

  • All proposals must be submitted through Curriculog, the online curriculum system (https://jmu.curriculog.com/). If you have any questions about using the online system, contact curric@jmu.edu.
  • College C&I committees, the college C&I chair and the dean must approve the proposal and move it to The Graduate School review status in Curriculog by the provided
  • For general questions about the graduate C&I process, contact Michael Stoloff (stolofml@jmu.edu) or Kristi Shackelford (shackekl@jmu.edu).
  • For new programs, proposers must contact the Office of Cross Disciplinary Studies and Diversity Engagement (moreyaj@jmu.edu). This includes new degree programs or any program that requires resources.
