Our Mission

While working with national and international communities, the JMU Alternative Break Program trains and immerses students in a purposeful service experience designed to connect students and community members while enhancing personal growth, mutual awareness and life-long learning.

Our Partnership

The James Madison University's Alternative Break Program is a unique partnership between Community Service-Learning, Presbyterian Campus Ministry, the JMU Chapter of Habitat for Humanity, Catholic Campus Ministry, Center for Multicultural Student Services, UREC, and community partners and agencies across the nation and around the world.
