Alternative Break Program (ABP)

While working with national and international communities, the James Madison University Alternative Break Program trains and immerses students in a purposeful service experience designed to connect students and community members while enhancing personal growth, mutual awareness and life-long learning.

Highlights

  • Prices for international and domestic flying and driving trips are now posted!
  • Bring your spare change for an intense competition of Penny Wars from 10AM-2PM until November 20th on the Commons and help raise money for the Alternative Spring Break trips.
  • Help support ABP as you make your belly happy! It's simple. Grab your friends, head over to Bourbon Street and order the ABP's Active Citizen Alfredo!
