Driving Directions to the Counseling & Student Development Center
The Counseling and Student Development Center is located in Varner House, which is on Bluestone Drive.
From Route 81 South:
Take exit #245 and make a right onto Port Republic Road. Travel on Port Republic Road for about 100 yards and make a right onto Bluestone Drive into campus. Follow Bluestone Drive through campus - there will be a lake and athletic fields on your left, you will cross over railroad tracks and go up a hill; the road will curve to the left and you will come to a stop sign - parking Lot L is on your left and the Counseling and Student Development Center (Varner House) is on your right. There is a statue of James Madison directly in front of the counseling center. The closest parking lots to Varner House are Lots L, W and A.
From Route 81 North:
Take exit #245 and make a left onto Port Republic Road. Cross over Route 81 and make a right at the second light onto Bluestone Drive into campus. Follow Bluestone Drive through campus - there will be a lake and athletic fields on your left, you will cross over railroad tracks and go up a hill; the road will curve to the left and you will come to a stop sign - parking Lot L is on your left and the Counseling and Student Development Center (Varner House) is on your right.
