This all-day workshop (June 14, 9:00-5:00) will help participants prepare for outreach, contextualize collection development decisions, and initiate or support new models for scholalrly communication in the sciences and humanities.  Four modules focus on...

  1. New methods of scholarly publishing and communication
  2. Copyright and Author's Rights
  3. Economics
  4. Open access and openness in practice.

The workshop is appropriate for those with administrative responsibilities and with new leadership assignments in scholarly communication or digital publishing, library liaisons, and instructional support staff.  Others seeking to advance their professional development in scholarly communication are also invited to attend.  It is free, but places are limited so register now.  For more info...
