Also, you can always work with a locally built Dreamweaver site then use a supported FTP or SFTP/SCP client to transfer files to the JMU web server.
General FTP Troubleshooting guide:
- Make sure you are using the correct host name: www.jmu.edu, secureweb.jmu.edu or educ.jmu.edu
