Syncing
Novell Netware and Windows
Passwords
In the new Novell Netware 6.5
system, your e-ID password will become your Novell Netware
password. For optimum use of your computer, your
e-ID, Novell Netware and
Windows passwords should be synced. There
are a variety of ways to complete this process. Below are the steps
that can be used prior to the migration process to
sync your passwords quickly and easily.

- After logging into the network, press the
Ctrl-Alt-Delete keys at the same time. The box on
the right will appear on your monitor.
- Click on the Change
Password button to change and
sync your Novell Netware and Windows
password.

- The screen on the right will
appear
- In the change password box, you
should see two resources (on the left side of the screen; one for
your computer and one for the JMU Novell
Netware Tree.
- You can change your Windows
password or your Novell Netware password.
- To change your
Windows password, click on the computer icon, type
your old Windows password, then type your new windows password
(e-ID password) and confirm it. Click on OK and
you should see the confirming window.

- To change your
Novell password, click on the JMU tree, then type
your old Novell password, your new password (e-ID) , and then
confirm your new password. Click on
OK
Reminder: All
passwords except your Windows password can be reset in the
