JMU IT support for Windows 7 began July 1, 2010.

Supported Versions

For JMU- owned computers

  • Windows 7 Enterprise

For personally-owned computers

  • Windows 7 Professional
  • Windows 7 Ultimate


All support, testing, recommendations, etc. apply only to using Windows 7 on a PC. Applications were not tested with Windows 7 running on a Mac.
