Office 2003Workshops End-
Office 2007Workshops Begin

The IT Training Labs will no longer have Office 2003 software available for workshops after June, 2009.  Office 2007 workshops will begin this summer in the IT Training Labs. 

To assist those in the Administrative Assistant Certification Program and others who would like to complete training in Office 2003 (Word, Access, Excel, or PowerPoint 2003), many Office 2003 workshops are being offered for a final time in the months of April and May.

Ninety-minute Overview session of Office 2007, Word, Excel, PowerPoint 2007, and Vista will continue to be offered throughout this year.  Outlook 2007 Overview will begin this summer.  If you are a proficient using Office 2003 applications, the overview workshops include the training (information and functionality) to help you transition to the latest version. 

In Office 2007 software programs the Menu Bar has been replaced by the Ribbon.  Each of the Overviews give hands-on, detailed information about the new Ribbon, and time is included for questions in each workshop.

Basic Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Outlook 2007 workshops are already scheduled in J-Ess.  These workshops are specifically geared for those who are novice users.  Each workshop is held in 2 3-hour segments (on two days of the same week).
