Information Technology offers multiple ways to connect to the JMU network from off-campus to access restricted, on-campus resources (available only from the JMU network range). These services allow off-campus access to online library resources, network file storage (employees) and more.

The SSL VPN service provides remote (off-campus) access to JMU systems and services that are not directly accessible through the Internet.


The VDI (Virtual Desktop Infrastructure) service provides access to certain JMU systems through a controlled, virtual environment.
