Windows Wireless Printing Instructions

The following instructions assume that you are already connected to the JMU Wireless network, that you have administrative privileges on your computer, and that you are viewing this page with Internet Explorer.  These instructions will NOT work with Firefox.


Click on the desired printer from the following list of available printers.

Documents sent to LabPrint wireless printers may be retrieved from most general use labs and Libraries.

 

You will be asked to confirm that you want to add the printer connection. Click on Yes.

 

You will then see a series of status message indicating that your computer is attempting to install the printer.

You may be asked to confirm installation of the printer driver software. Confirm the installation by clicking on Install driver

 

Your printer is successfully installed when you see the following message.  You may close Internet Explorer and proceed to print wirelessly!

 

If the printer fails to install using this automated method, you may try following the alternate instructions to manually install the printer.  Otherwise, please call Lab Operations at 568-3672 for assistance.
