Replying to a Message
You can reply to messages from the information viewer or the Message window. You can choose to reply to the sender of the message or to the sender and all other message recipients.
Replies sent to you display the text RE: and the original message subject in the Subject column in your Inbox folder. When you reply to a message, a red left-pointing arrow appears attached to the envelope symbol next to the message in your Inbox folder to let you know that you have responded to the message. .

You can reply to a message without opening the Message window by selecting the message in the information viewer and clicking the Reply or Reply to All button on the Standard toolbar. |

When you open a message to which you replied, the date and time of the reply appear in the Info Bar above the message. |
Exercise: Replying to a Message

Click the Outlook Shortcuts group on the Outlook Bar.

Click the Inbox icon or choose the sub folder which contains the message to which you wish to reply.

Select the message to which you want to reply.

Click the Reply button or Reply to All button when you are ready to reply to the message.

Type your reply.

Select the Send button.

Click the Close button on the Message window title bar of the original message.
