Saving a Presentation as a Web Page

PowerPoint presentations can be saved as a web page by selecting File>Save from the menu bar and then selecting Web Page under the Save as type: dropdown box.

However, if you want to post your PowerPoint presentations on the Internet, you may want to save them as web pages so students and other visitors to your web site can view the presentation even if they do not have Power Point installed on their computers.
  1. Select File>Save As Web Page from the menu bar. Choose your web page directory on the network from the Look in: drop-down menu and name the file in the File name: box.

  2. Click the button Change Title above the file name to change the title text which appear in the browser's title bar.
  3. Click the button Publish to change the way your presentation will look once it is uploaded to your web site. There are a number of different settings that will change the way your presentation looks and feels on the web.
  4. Click Publish to save the presentation in web format.
