This Webmail version enables users to choose to Compose a messages
in Plain Text or in HTML. The default in users' Preferences is
Plain Text. |

Click OK at the bottom of the
Preference screen to save your choice. |
|
Click on Compose in the Navigational Bar and the default
editor your chose will appear. |
|
Once in the Compose screen, if you would like to use the
other editor click on the button on the lower left corner of
the Compose box. This button acts like a toggle switch
between Plain Text and HTML.

This "toggle" option enables you to choose to Compose some
messages in Plain Text and others in HTML. It is not
necessary to change your Preferences every time you choose to
change the type of message (Plain Text or HTML) you
wish to send. |

When opening HTML Compose for the first time in each session,
you may see the following window. Click on Yes. and the
HTML Compose screen will appear.

In HTML Compose you will see a tool bar with standard HTML
formatting options. |
The HTML defaults are set by the system. You can:
- Change the defaults at the beginning of a message.
- Change the defaults for certain portions of your message.
- Highlight a portion of your message and add the HTML
formatting after you have typed the text.
