To upgrade a JMU-owned computer from Windows 2000 to Windows XP, a license must be purchased. Dell has provided academic pricing for the Windows XP upgrade license. Click here to view the price list. Please contact your departmental secretary to purchase the license. Once the license is acquired, call the HelpDesk (568-3555) to make an appointment to have Windows XP installed on your computer.
