Please have Microsoft Outlook configured and working properly before following these directions!
This process will backup any e-mail located on a local machine to a hard drive or network drive.
Only store sensitive data to a local drive if absolutely necessary. It is preferable to save information to your JMU Novell network "N: drive" rather than your local "C: drive". As a general rule, do not save social security numbers or financial information such as credit card numbers. Never store this type of information on a home computer!
