How do I install/configure Oracle Connector for Outlook for use at JMU?
- If this is not during the initial install process, you will need to go to Start, All Programs, Oracle Connector for Outlook, Oracle Connector Configuration Wizard.
- Click Next at the Welcome Screen.
- Select Outlook from the Profiles and click Next.
- Under the Calendar section, for the Server Name, type ocal.jmu.edu.
- Under the Calendar section, for the Account Name, use your e-ID.
- Under the Calendar section, for the Password, use your e-ID password.
- Ensure that the following checkboxes are unchecked:
- Incoming Mail
- Outgoing Mail (SMTP)
- There should be no information specified under User Information, Incoming Mail, or Outgoing Mail (SMTP).
- Under the At Startup: section, ensure the following:
- The drop-down menu should be set to Choose a connection type.
- Check the checkbox Use same password for all servers.
- Check the checkbox Remember server passwords.
- Click Next.
- Check the check box Set as Default.

- Click Finish.
