How do I install/configure Oracle Connector for Outlook for use at JMU?
- If this is not during the initial install process, you will need to go to Start, All Programs, Oracle Connector for Outlook, Oracle Connector Configuration Wizard
- Click Next at the Welcome Screen

- Select Outlook from the Profiles and click Next

- Ensure that the Incoming Mail and Outgoing Mail (SMTP) checkboxes to the right are unchecked
- Under the Calendar section, for the Server Name, enter: ocal.jmu.edu
- Under the Calendar section, for the Username, enter: your JMU e-ID
- Under the Calendar section, for the Password, enter: your JMU e-ID password (don't forget to return to the Oracle Connector for Outlook Wizard and change your password when you change your e-ID password every 90 days)
- Under the At Startup section:
Change the drop-down menu box to Choose a connection type
Check the checkbox Remember server passwords

- Click Next.
- Check the check box Set as Default.

- Click Finish.
