Changing your e-ID and Novell NetWare Passwords in the NetWare 6.5 environment

  • Login to the Accounts Portal to change your e-ID password. When you change your e-ID password using the Accounts Portal, your NetWare password will be automatically changed to the same value (e-ID and NetWare password will be automatically "synced").

  • Please do not use any other method to change your NetWare password because doing so would make your e-ID and NetWare password "out of sync". If you attempt to change your password by means other than the Accounts Portal, then you should receive an error message.

  • When you receive your e-ID password expiration email notice, this will also double as your NetWare password expiration notice.
