Tree or server not found error

Situation:
Your computer's registration expires overnight and upon turning on computer at the Novell login screen you enter your username and password and then receive the error:
"Tree or server not found"

Solution:
The "server" information needs to be entered in the Client (ex: nwdata1.fs.jmu.edu). If the server is entered in the client, then even if the computer's registration expires, the computer can login to NetWare.

Note: The "Tree or server not found" error may also occur if a third party firewall program on your computer is not configured properly.
