Requesting an Upgrade
PC Services provides hardware upgrades for JMU owned computers for hard drives, memory, bios, etc. Upgrades are provided at a nominal cost for parts and installation. The procedure to request an upgrade includes:
- Contact the HelpDesk at 568.3555 or firstname.lastname@example.org to place your upgrade request.
- The HelpDesk will notify PC Services who will initiate a work order.
- PC Services may contact the customer if additional information is needed.
- PC Services will provide a cost estimate and request authorization to proceed.
