• Bulk Email & Label Request

  For communications with students or employees, use bulk email to send information electronically or use labels for campus mailings. FAQ’s about the bulk email process are also available.

• Internet Dial-Up Service Request

  Renew or sign-up for personal dial-up or JMU Departmental dial-up Internet access. 

• Report a Security Violation

  Report electronic abuse or a security violation to Information Security staff. 

• Web Publisher Requests

  JMU faculty, staff, students, and affiliates may request accounts to publish web content to a JMU Information Technology maintained web server. You may also add or delete a publisher for your website.

Students

• SAS Software License Request

  SAS is comprehensive tool for analyzing data that facilitates statistical analysis, data management, forecasting, decision support, and research. 

Faculty and Staff

• Affiliate Service Request

  Departmental or individual sponsors can request JMU services, such as an email address or JACard, for an affiliate. 

• Exchange Service Requests

  Create a shared (departmental) mailbox or shared calendar
  Create a distribution group
  Create a resource - room, vehicle, or equipment
  Change the ownership - of a shared mailbox (departmental), shared calendar or resource
  Create Exchange account for student employee(s) - for student employees that need access to a shared department resource (mailbox/calendar) and/or staff calendars to do their work and/or or deal with "private" JMU/departmental information
  Remove - a shared (departmental) mailbox, shared calendar, distribution group, or resource

• File Restoration Request

  Request a file restoration for files on Educ, www.jmu.edu, SecureWeb and Network file storage.

• JMU IS Applications Security

  Request new, change or delete access to JMU central systems including Human Resources Management, Student Administration, Finance and AiM. For access to the Finance system, a supplementary request must also be submitted.

• Network File Storage

  Department Heads or Supervisors may request Network File Storage for new employees, to change access for existing employees, or to delete access for departing employees.

• Technology Project Initiation Request (PIQ)

  University departments are required to submit a completed questionnaire prior to soliciting acquisition or development of technology or technology classroom projects not considered end-user computing. Preview the online questions.  

• Setup and Installation Request for JMU-owned Computers, Printers, and Mobile Devices

  Request assistance with JMU-owned computers, printers, and mobile devices. Instructions are provided "as is" for personally-owned mobile device configuration to Exchange.

• Software License Requests

  Request a license for SAS or SPSS for data analysis or Mathematica (Grad Assistants also) for computation, modeling, simulation, visualization, development, documentation, and deployment. 

• Training Evaluation

  Provide feedback on Information Technology training courses.
