1. Go into HotSync screen and press the Menu button on the keypad at the bottom right of the phone

 

2. Select “Modem Sync Prefs…”

3. Select “Network” on the next screen then “OK”

4. Press the “Menu” button again

5. Select “LANSync Prefs…”

6. Select “LANSync” and hit “OK”

7. Press “Menu” button again

8. Select “Primary PC Setup”

9. Enter the following on the Dotted Lines:

    Primary PC Name = !!

    Primary PC Address = (IP address of the PC that the Palm will be syncing with.)

    Subnet Mask = (Subnet Mask of the PC that you are syncing to)

 

            You can find these settings by clicking on the hotsync icon   and selecting “Setup”.

 

Select the Network tab, put a checkmark next to your name/ID and click on the “TCP/IP Settings”. The window that appears will have the Primary PC Address and the Subnet Mask.

10. Hit “OK” until you come to the Hotsync Screen.

11. While on the HotSync Screen select the “Modem” box above the HotSync icon.

12. After selecting “Modem” a new box will appear below the HotSync icon that says “PCS Vision”

13. If it does not say “PCS Vision” then tap the box with the stylus

14. On the next screen you need to tap the dropdown arrow next to “Service” and select “PCS Vision”

15. Tap on done and you are finished.
