         There are two basic ways to login to the system:

                Logging into Active Directory
                Logging into the local workstation

         The Administrator Account is an account that gives you administrative
         rights to perform certain tasks. It is represented as your e-ID followed
         by an x (e-IDx).

  • How can I use the Administrator Account?

         There are several ways to use your Administrator Account:

                 Method 1 (applies to XP and Vista/7; requires e-ID authentication)
                 Method 2 (applies to XP only; requires e-ID authentication)
                 Method 3 (applies to Vista/7 only; requires e-ID authentication)

         Run Advertised Programs is a feature that allows you to automatically
         install certain programs without administrative rights.

  • How can I use Run Advertised Programs?

         Run advertised programs can be started from within the Control Panel:

                 Windows XP
                 Windows Vista
                 Windows 7
