NTC provides all network connectivity to many apartment complex properties in the Harrisonburg area. All residents using NTC are required to follow NTC’s computer registration procedures. Computers do not obtain JMU network addresses as when you are on campus. Consequently, all network and Internet connectivity issues should be directed to NTC rather than to the JMU Computing HelpDesk.

Regardless of your Off Campus Internet Provider, you have two ways to access the JMU Library resources from your off campus location:
2. Connect using the JMU SSL VPN at sslvpn.jmu.edu .

If your computer is a Dell or Apple under warranty, please contact the IT Help Desk (540) 568-3555 for authorization to bring in your computer.
Otherwise, if your computer is not under warranty, please contact a local vendor for repair services. Please see our list for some possible vendor choices in the local area.
