Come join CommonHealth's New Campaign for 2006, "Laughing at Stress". This year's campaign is designed to help you better handle the daily stressors you encounter in today's workplace. The first thing we invite you to do is take the short 10 question assessment listed on CommonHealth's website to determine the amount of job stress you experience.

Matters of Men/Prostate Cancer Support Group

JMU CommonHealth  is  pleased to announce that Phil Wishon, Dean of JMU’s College  of Education, and a prostate cancer survivor, has  established  “Matters  of  Men”  (MM)  a  JMU/Northern  Shenandoah Valley support group for men  and their  loved ones touched by prostate cancer.  The purpose of MM is to provide practical and emotional support to men diagnosed with prostate cancer, to offer counsel to them and their loved ones, and to provide a forum whereby those touched by prostate cancer can share experiences and provide mutual support. 

 

Individuals desiring more information about Matters of Men are encouraged to contact Phil at wishonpm@jmu.edu  or 568-3664.   Matters of Men respects individuals’ privacy rights and assures the confidentiality of all communication.
