Baby Benefits® is a free program designed to promote a healthy pregnancy and prevent premature birth. When you register, you'll receive a comprehensive prenatal care information package and a toll-free number that puts you in touch with Baby Benefits® nurses who can answer any questions you may have, day or night. Remember, if you want coverage for your newborn, you must see your Benefits Administrator and complete an enrollment form within 31 days of the birth.

To register at no cost or for more information, call (800) 828-5891.

As part of the CommonHealth program, the State of Virginia is offering the Baby Benefits® program for expectant employees, spouses and dependents covered in a State or Local Choice health benefits plan.

Breaking Free From Tobacco

Are you ready to quit smoking? Breaking Free From Tobacco is for you!  You'll receive individual phone support from your health coordinator who will get to know your unique needs and guide you through the "breaking free" process. You will be supported as you quit and as you remain tobacco free. Your health coordinator will help you choose whether the nicotine patch or gum will work best for you. You'll receive up to an 8-week supply at no cost. In addition, you will also receive Quit Kit Incentives from a planning guide to a water bottle and relaxation tape to help you make a smooth transition.

You'll decide when you're ready to quit and set reachable goals whether you are ready to quit now or just thinking about it. No pressure. No nagging. No kidding.

Call 1-800-394-6380 to enroll and take the first step toward Breaking Free.

State and Local Choice employees and their adult family members receive this free benefit as part of their health benefit plan. Two enrollments per lifetime.
