May Graduate Student Check List

Qualification for Participation:

In order to participate in the May 4, 2012 commencement ceremony, a graduation application must be completed by each candidate and submitted to The Graduate School by January 20th. Due to printing production schedules, your name may not appear in the commencement program if your application is not received by the above deadline.

   Application for degree due to The Graduate School.

January 30, 2012

   Thesis Committee Approval form due to The Graduate School.

February 23 - 24, 2012

   Order personalized Commencement announcements at the bookstore.

After April 2, 2012

Generic graduation announcements are available from the bookstore.

April 9-13, 2012

Graduate Fair at the Bookstore: generic graduation announcements are available or order customized ones; order a class ring; pick-up a diploma frame and purchase the new, exclusive cap and gown.

  • Master sets are: $58.00
  • EDS sets are: $69.00
  • Doctoral candidate black regalia rentals are: $65.00

Pick-up your name cards from The Graduate School, 17 West Grace Street between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.

May 4, 2012

All coursework requirements must be completed by this date.

May 4, 2012

Students must be in proper processional line by 6:30 p.m.

Commencement begins at 7 p.m.
