Inclement Weather Plan

In the case of inclement weather, the university’s inclement weather plan will be put in place.

The individual college ceremonies on Saturday, May 10th will be held rain or shine so bring umbrellas and/or ponchos.

The college ceremonies will only adhere to the “inclement weather” schedule if weather conditions appear life threatening (lightning, tornado warnings, etc.).  If this is the case, a decision will be made by 8 a.m. and will be posted on the JMU website www.jmu.edu and announced on the radio at AM 1610. JMU’s public safety department makes that decision.
