December Graduation Checklist

Qualification for Participation

In order to participate in the December 17, 2011 commencement ceremony, a graduation application must be completed by each candidate and submitted to the Graduate Schoolby October 7. Due to printing production schedules, your name may not appear in the commencement program if your application is not received by the above deadline.

October 7, 2011 Application for degree due to The Graduate School.
November 8 - 10, 2011 Purchase cap and gown from the Bookstore.
  • Master sets are: $55.00
  • EDS sets are: $69.00
  • Doctoral candidate black regalia rentals are: $65.00
November 8 - 10, 2011

A representative will be in the bookstore for purchasing graduation announcements during these dates.

November 18, 2011 Thesis or Dissertation due to The Graduate School.
December 12 - 16, 2011 Pick-up your name cards from the Graduate School offices, Grace Street House, between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.
December 16, 2011
1:00 p.m.
Hooding Practice for all graduates (at the Convocation Center).
December 16, 2011 All graduation requirements, including final semester for undergraduate, masters and Ed.S., must be completed by this date.
December 17, 2011 Students must be in proper processional line by 9:30 a.m.
December 17, 2011 Commencement begins at 10 a.m.
