College of Education and University Studies

The College of Education will hold the ceremony for master's degree students, Friday, May 2 at 6:00 p.m. in Godwin Hall; a joint ceremony with University Studies for bachelor's degree students will be Saturday, May 3 at 11:30 a.m. in Godwin Hall. The seating diagram for graduate students can be seen here and for graduating seniors can be seen here.

Friday evening's master's degree ceremony:

  • All College of Education Graduate Programs

Saturday morning's bachelor's degree ceremony:

  • Adult Degree Program, Bachelor of Individualized Study
  • IDLS - Early Childhood Education
  • IDLS - Elementary Education
  • IDLS - Middle School Education
  • IDLS - Non Teaching
  • IDLS - Special Education

Each college is led into the stadium by three student flag and banner bearers. These students are selected by their college to honor their outstanding achievements. Katharine B. Luehrs will carry the college flag and Michelle E. Beardmore and Erin E. Hart will carry complementary banners.

In addition to these ceremonies, the James Madison University ROTC students will be Commissioned into the Army as second lieutenants.
