Eliza Charbonneau is a senior in the School of Communication Studies with a focus in Public Relations. She is from Chesterfield, Virginia and joined the Communication Center in Spring 2011. You may recognize Eliza from other organizations on campus like Phi Alpha Delta Pre-Law Fraternity and Relay For Life.
Eliza says, "I strongly believe in saving time to relax and de-stress. I think this helps you be more productive and focused when you need to be, and gives you extra motivation to get your work done!"
Cory Combs is a senior in the School of Communication Studies with a second major in Political Science. He is from Woodbridge, Virginia outside of Washington, DC and has been working at the Communication Center since Spring 2011. You may also see him at UREC in between classes where he tries to balance his studies with an energizing rush of adrenaline and healthy dose of antioxidants.
Cory says, "Staying healthy and active not only keeps your body in good shape, but it rejuvenates the mind and keeps the brain sharp and on target."
Jessica Yamarick is a senior in the School of Communication Studies with a concentration in Public Relations with a minor in Human Resource Development. She is from Paoli, Pennsylvania and has been working at the Communication Center since Spring of 2009. You may also know Jessica from Sigma Kappa.
Michelle Crowe is a senior in the School of Communication Studies with a concentration in Public Relations and a minor in Educational Media. She is from Brick, New Jersey, but has also lived abroad in Paris, France. You may also know Michelle from the following organizations: Alpha Sigma Alpha sorority and Habitat for Humanity.
Zack Oser is a senior Communication Studies major with a concentration in Public Relations and a minor in Music Industry. He is from Baltimore, Maryland and has been working at the Communication Center since Spring 2011. You may also know Zack from the JMU Orientation Program.
Zack says, "Meeting new people and being able to help them is such a rewarding experience. Working at the Communication Center gives me an excellent opportunity to help people by doing something I truly enjoy."
Katie Lese is a sophomore in the School of Communication Studies with a minor in WRTC and has been working at the Communication Center since Fall 2011. She is from Berryville, Va- yes the one from the Wendy's commercials. Along with enjoying small towns in fast food commercials, abusing her dining dollars by feeding her Starbucks addiction, and wearing purple and gold, you can find Katie on JMU's speech team.
Lani Furbank is a sophomore in the School of Media Arts and Design with a concentration in Broadcast Journalism, and she is pursuing a minor in Environmental Studies. She is originally from Fairfax, VA and has been working at the Communication Center since Fall 2011. She loves nature, animals, her family and friends, Chipotle, and helping others. You may know Lani from the following organizations: the Breeze, the Marching Royal Dukes, the Society of Professional Journalists, SMAD Club, Big Brothers Big Sisters and the JMU Honors Program.
