Teacher-In-Residence, Augusta County Public Schools

Academic degrees:
B.A., Bridgewater College, Psychology
M.Ed, James Madison University, Educational Leadership

Professional experience:
I taught in Augusta County Public Schools for twelve years. I am currently working as the Teacher-In-Residence for the Augusta County/JMU partnership. At JMU, I supervise several practica in the Early, Elementary and Reading Department, as well as co-teach ECED 481. At Clymore Elementary, I provide reading remediation for 3rd grade students, assist administration, and place practicum students at Clymore Elementary. In addition, I am the chair person for the Augusta County/JMU Partnership steering committee.

Professional interests:
Mentoring new teachers and RTI (Response to Intervention)

Personal interests:
I enjoy spending time with my family. My husband and I have 2 children, Emma and Carter.
